Bringing together quality images with informative text is the aim of the Hull Online Local History Portal. With contributors based in Kingston upon Hull and the East Riding of Yorkshire this portal is well placed to provide a comprehensive historical overview which is easily accessible, clear and legible and most of all informative.
The Hull Online Local History Portal is part of the Hull Online family of web sites.
Hull Online is owned and managed by CLIOPSE Internet Solutions, the web development division of The CLIOPSE Group and hosted by MotorHost, the web hosting division of The CLIOPSE Group. The CLIOPSE Group is owned and managed in the East Riding of Yorkshire.
The Hull Online Local History Portal and the Hull Online Local Image Gallery are funded entirely by adverting and are run as not-for-profit projects. Any revenue generated by advertising on these sites is used to fund the web hosting charges and future development costs.
